Continuing Education Hours (CEH) can be earned by attending ISM-Arizona meetings and professional development programs. Each member is responsible for signing the attendance sheet for a CEH. * ISM-Arizona routinely takes pictures during the meetings.

“2020 Economic Update”
presented by Mitchell Allen
As Vice President of Business Development at GPEC, Mitchel Allen specializes in providing market analysis and site-selection assistance to manufacturing and distribution companies looking to expand or relocate to the region. He has facilitated corporate expansions leading to the creation of more than 3,900 jobs, resulting in an investment impact of more than $1.3 billion to the Greater Phoenix region. His recent experience involves projects in the high-tech electronics manufacturing, plastic injection molding, and distribution spaces. He is currently working with more than 100 companies in a variety of industries, including biotechnology, healthcare and manufacturing.
Prior to joining GPEC, Mitchel was with the City of Chandler as an Economic Development Specialist where he focused on business attraction, retention and expansion, as well as collaborated with regional and state agencies. He also managed the 60,000-sqaure-foot Innovations Science and Technology Incubator in Chandler, which opened in 2011.
Mitchel was born and raised in Tempe, Ariz. where he earned his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. Mitchel serves on the board of directors of the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED), and is a member of NAIOP and SIOR. He is also a mentor for Year Up and New Pathways for Youth.
He was recently awarded Economic Developer of the year 2017 by the Arizona Association of Economic Development and was also named one of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers by Consultant Connect in 2017.

You can receive one CEH for each hour of learning. CEH's for our year (June through May) are available after the May meeting. A reminder email will be sent to each member that they are available upon request.
To cancel your RSVP, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org two or more days prior to event. If cancellation is necessary, a credit will remain on file for use within the next two months (meeting/event). After that, your credit will no longer be available.
